So, I finally watched this tonight after my husband and I had noodled about it for a while. I wasn't really into seeing it in the first place, but having watched it, I immediately googled "Uncut Gems was horrible" and found this. It feels so good to have someone else acknowledge how absolutely unbearable the plot and main character were. I was actually hoping for his demise because he was so rotten.

That said, Sandler is an INCREDIBLE actor and should be in more serious vehicles in the future. But this movie... oy. I have a headache. And some anxiety. I think I'll turn on The Office to get some sillies in for the night.
